This year's COA Orthopaedic Congress (the 23rd Orthopaedic Academic Conference of the Chinese Medical Association) will be held in Wuhan, Hubei Province on December 04-08, 2024.
The original ACAF technology of Professor Shi Jiangang's team from Changzheng Hospital will once again be exchanged with colleagues across the country in the form of a special session. The ACAF session was held in Jingxi Hall on the morning of Saturday (07th), with the theme of "Hundred Academies Contending".
Since the first special session of ACAF technology was opened at the COA Orthopaedic Conference in 2018, it has received the attention and support of a large number of experts across the country. ACAF technology has been applied and practiced in hospitals across the country, forming a clinical research sample bank of more than 100 spine surgery centers.
In the process of practice, more and more patients with spinal ligament ossification have obtained satisfactory results because of this technology, and a lot of experience and lessons are accumulating. The 2024 National Orthopaedic Annual Meeting ACAF Technology Special Session will take "100 Hospitals Compete" as the theme, hoping to continuously improve ACAF technology, a Chinese original technology to solve the problem of spinal ligament ossification, in the exchange and sharing, so that more spine surgeons can understand and master the principle, accurate surgical indications and standard technical procedures of this technology, and provide high-quality medical services for more patients with ligament ossification.
The first session of the special session is the launching ceremony of the 100-hospital case competition activity, which plans to collect ACAF technology cases implemented by each center in the next year, and summarize the activities in the ACAF technology special session in 2025, and select outstanding cases such as high-difficulty cases, innovative cases, standardized cases, and high-concern cases, in order to promote the high-level promotion and standardized application of ACAF technology across the country.
After the launching ceremony, the team of Professor Shi Jiangang of Shanghai Changzheng Hospital and experts from all over the country will discuss the wonderful cases of cervical ACAF technology, thoracic TACAF technology and thoracic Bridge Crane technology of spinal ligament ossification in their respective hospitals, and share their experience and insights.
This session will continue the previous book donation activities, and each expert who asks questions on the spot will receive an ACAF monograph signed by Professor Shi Jiangang. There is no limit to the number of participants, and everyone is welcome to participate.
