On August 24-25, the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeon Branch of the Guangdong Medical Doctor Association and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeon Forum were successfully held in the multi-functional lecture hall of the Administrative Center of Dongguan Kanghua Hospital, Dongguan City. The conference was hosted by the Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Branch of the Guangdong Medical Doctor Association, undertaken by Dongguan Kanghua Hospital and the Dermatology Hospital of Southern Medical University, and co-organized by the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Branch of the Dongguan Medical Association and the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Branch of the Guangdong Women Physicians Association. Professor Wang Chunmei, Chairman of the Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Branch of Guangdong Medical Doctor Association and Director of the Department of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery of the Dermatology Hospital of Southern Medical University, served as the chairman of the conference. More than 500 people attended the meeting.

The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Professor Tang Qing, Director of the Department of Plastic Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, and Wang Chunmei, Chairman of the conference, delivered a welcome speech, expressing a warm welcome and sincere greetings to the participating experts and colleagues. Professor Song Jianxing, President of the Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeon Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Professor Jia Wenxiao, Executive Dean of Dongguan Kanghua Hospital, and Professor Li Zhiwei, Vice President of Dongguan Kanghua Hospital and Vice President of Dongguan Medical Association, delivered enthusiastic speeches respectively and wished the conference a complete success.

Professor Gao Jianhua and Professor Hu Zhiqi from Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University, Professor Xu Yangbin from the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, and Professor Liu Hongwei from the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University delivered keynote speeches respectively.
With the theme of "Integration, Innovation, Development and Sharing", the conference held a total of 11 academic sessions, including two sessions on the safety management of microplastic injection, scar and wound, scar and cosmetic suture, fat medicine, oculoplastic surgery, rhinoplasty, comprehensive research, hair medicine, and body surface tumor and repair, to carry out in-depth discussions on cutting-edge theories and innovative technologies.
The conference has a strong lineup of experts, inviting well-known plastic surgery experts in China, Hong Kong and the province. He made a wonderful academic report at the conference on the latest research trends and achievements in the field of plastic surgery, the current situation and future development direction of diagnosis and treatment. The conference had a total of 73 academic presentations, bringing a rich and wonderful academic feast to the participants.
During the meeting, the 6th Committee of the Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeon Branch of the Guangdong Medical Doctor Association was also held. The National Committee deliberated and approved the list of members added and adjusted for the first time of the Sixth Committee and the list of young doctors working group.

Finally, Chairman Wang Chunmei reported on the work carried out by the branch in 2024, and proposed at the National Committee that in the future, it will actively carry out work in four aspects: cohesion, respect for value, standardized medical treatment, and hand in hand, and strive to contribute to the beauty and plastic surgery cause in Guangdong Province.
